Point Lynas, Anglesey
Sold Out
Join us for some wildlife spotting at Point Lynas. This area is a great place this time of year to spot Risso's Dolphins, native to Anglesey's coastline. Also we are very likely to spot some grey seals gliding along the coastline. Our eyes will also be in the sky looking out for sea birds like Gannets and Great Black-backed Gulls. If you have a pair of binoculars please bring them with you, along with lots of warm, waterproof layers, snacks and drinks as appropriate!
Public toilets are available near the car parking area, approximately 800 metres from the lighthouse.
The walk from the car park is along a road and a farm track, the ground near the lighthouse can be undulating and sure footing is required. Walking boots are recommended. The walk is approximately 800 metres from the car park to the lighthouse.
We aim to leave Point Lynas no later than 1pm, to be back in Bangor between 1.30-2pm.
